As part of a £1bn regeneration program for south east London, developer Berkeley Homes began a four phase, £100m development in February 2010 to provide new build commercial, residential and office facilities in Woolwich. Ideally positioned for Crossrail and DLR transport connections, this landmark scheme will see 200,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and restaurant spaces as well as 1,500 new homes created.
EMS UK Ltd was contracted to deliver all aspects of the temporary electrical and mechanical site infrastructure across all four phases of this long-term project, ensuring continuous power distribution, emergency lighting systems, safety alarms and high capacity water connections for all site works.
